Growing up in Flint, Michigan, where my family managed assisted living homes for the mentally ill, I learned the importance of compassion and making a positive difference in people’s lives. These values have guided me throughout my personal and professional journey.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Oral Roberts University in 1990. After graduation, I pursued my passion for entrepreneurship and gained valuable experience in various business ventures before co-founding CaptureRx with my college friend, Ed Gilmartin, in the early 2000s. Our goal was to contribute to the betterment of the world through our work.
At CaptureRx, we strive to foster a culture built on our core values:
- Always be tenacious and compassionate
- Engage in clear and honest conversations
- Do the right thing because it is right
- Enable others to be the best version of themselves
- Practice financial discipline that enables compassion and dignity
Guided by these principles, Ed and I have worked to develop innovative solutions for the 340B industry:
Cumulus (2008)
Software for contract pharmacy TPA
CaptureConnect (2012)
A gateway product/service for chain pharmacies
ReferDoc
A CE referral system
CaptureCard
A means for patients to access 340B savings directly
NEC Networks, LLC
Introducing PBM services to Community Mental Health programs
I am married with two children and enjoy being a grandfather. As I continue to lead CaptureRx, my focus remains on collaborating with my team to develop solutions that address the evolving needs of the 340B industry while staying true to my core values.
